Girls and guys will openly proclaim their pro-ana attitudes and selfies of ripped up skin will be under the #selfharn tag. This is not a place for the queasy or meek. Let’s not forget the depressed side of Tumblr. Try to always be respectful and never appear ignorant about anything, because SJWs love slamming people with hate for being inhumane to one another, even if it was just an accident. She will spam you and all of her followers will reblog everything you post and say cruel things about you. Also, never call out a femenazi on her crap. Heaven forbid you offend a POC, you’ll get Tumblr famous for all the wrong reasons. SJWs are most famous for this and will gladly give you their two cents on how the world should work. Tumblr has a nasty side that isn’t afraid to call people out. I have watched people delete their blogs because of the hate they get from fellow bloggers. You might be thinking, “How bad could this one website be?” and I’ll tell you. Tumblr is not for the faint of heart though. To everyone who didn’t understand a word of what I just said, get a Tumblr and educate yourself. They just don’t have the ingenuity to see the innuendos so cleverly disguised by the creators. Just because your OTP is their NOTP doesn’t mean they reserve the right to destroy your tag, am I right? At the same time, it’s hypocritical to even complain because you just so happen to think their ship is moronic…even though it’s completely cannon. A good part of the time, if you ship something completely crack, you will find hate and spam on your ship’s dash, but those few headcannon posts are worth all of the nasty things the haters say.
If you’re feeling particularly daring, you’ll type your OTP straight into the tag search and pray for the best. You type in the tag search for whatever fandom you long to check out, and start your adventure. Whether it’s Superwholock, SNK/AoT, MLP, or Harry Potter (to name a few), you simply have to know if something has changed the way you now view that fandom. The first time you see something on your dash, you’re curious, especially if it’s something related to one of your fandoms. I know that you all completely understand what I’m talking about. There is no escaping the life-sucking abilities that Tumblr can easily wield over you. Obviously, you didn’t sign in to see all of this, but for some reason, what intended to be only a few minutes before class turns into a five-hour catch up game to see what the hell is happening to cause such uproar. Eventually, you give up and just start from the top of your dash and work your way through the masses. You scroll and scroll to try to find the last thing you posted, so you can start reblogging from where you left off, and your url is nowhere to be found. Speaking of which, have you ever been away from Tumblr for so long (five minutes), that all of a sudden you decide to pull up your dash, and you see that you are bombed with everything? SJWs crying out against human nature, new pairings and ships setting sail in your favorite fandom, and random facts or zodiac things completely take over your dash. Some days are worse than others, and sometimes you just want to quit Tumblr all together. Then there are other days, when that one blog you follow that is always a wildcard posts nothing but weird, gay hentai gifs and you cannot hit logout fast enough. There are days that you log on and everything is normal and funny.
Depending on the day, it is full of ridiculous people and ridiculous things and can be quite entertaining or it is a place full of hate and horrible criticisms that make you cringe. Tumblr is an exciting and mysterious place.
